What You’ll Like About This Job
Crimson Group seeks experienced VFD technicians to install, troubleshoot, and maintain drives for oil and gas operations on a 14/14 rotation. This fly-in/fly-out role includes premium accommodations, per diem, and diverse equipment challenges. It’s ideal for journeyman electricians or techs eager to work remote schedules.

- 5+ years VFD systems experience in Oil & Gas
- Strong knowledge of Toshiba, ABB, Yaskawa, Allen-Bradley, Schneider drives
- Journeyman Electrician, EET, Instrumentation or Electronics background
- Valid driver’s license, able to pass background & drug tests
- Comfortable troubleshooting electrical/mechanical systems independently
- Safety certifications (H2S Alive, First Aid, Fall Protection) are assets
- Hands-on experience with PLC integration and automation systems
- Excellent documentation and problem-solving skills
- Strong teamwork in multi-disciplinary environments
