Do you want to be a part of an established Finance team? Can you collaborate on large engineering projects and develop your financial skills? And are you equipped with knowledge in Finance or Accounting? Then, lift off your career by turning challenges into sustainable solutions.

Create the solutions that will enable a better tomorrow

To work with Finance and support Project Managers across North America, we are looking for a Junior Accountant to join our team. We are a team working alongside our customers on some of North America’s most prestigious projects in infrastructure projects. And we are proud to have contributed to projects like the Golden Ears and the Lions Gate Bridges. Together with customers, partners, and colleagues, we shape a future where people and societies grow and flourish.

Your key responsibilities will be to:

  • Prepare and process weekly payments for vendors and employees, including invoice coding, and review.
  • Prepare journal entries, and month-end cash reports, and assist with general ledger account reconciliation and month-end closing.
  • Clear bank transactions and investigate variances or outages.
  • Prepare expense reports and reconcile corporate credit cards.
  • Assist to prepare monthly rent payments.
  • Send timesheet reminders, follow up with employees, and assist with completing timesheets.
  • Assist with compliance-related working papers, data gathering for surveys and proposals, and other assigned tasks.

Your skills. Our team. Together we design the future.

The first step to growth in this role is that you are willing to collaborate with the people around you, whether they are colleagues, partners, or customers. Developing ties with others is something you do by acting respectfully and delivering on your promises. And you never get set in your ways but keep exploring new insights and ways to improve.

On top of that, you will:

  • Be familiar with Office suite and proficient using Excel (proficiency test may be required)
  • Must have fluency in written and spoken English.
  • Possess general accounting knowledge obtained through experience and/or education
  • Have post-secondary education in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or a related field preferred
  • Demonstrate 0-3 years of related experience
