The Opportunity
We’re hiring a People Operations & Talent Lead to lead our recruiting efforts and support our people operations function. This is a hands-on, full-cycle recruiting role with a strong HR generalist component; ideal for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and is excited to build great teams from the ground up.
This role is centered on recruiting and onboarding top-tier talent, while also supporting the broader people operations function. You'll play a key role in shaping the entire employee journey - from the first interaction with a candidate to the systems and processes that support their long-term success at Summit. The Pay Range For This Role Is
85,000 - 125,000 CAD per year(Remote (Canada))

What You’ll Do
Recruiting & Onboarding
- Partner with hiring managers to scope, post, and promote roles across multiple channels
- Own the end-to-end hiring process: sourcing, screening, coordinating interviews, and managing candidate experience
- Maintain and optimize our applicant tracking system (ATS)
- Draft and send offer letters, coordinate background checks, and handle employment documentation
- Design and execute a consistent onboarding experience that aligns with our brand and values
- Track hiring metrics and continuously improve recruitment strategies
- Maintain accurate employee data in our HRIS (Rippling)
- Support employee lifecycle tasks (onboarding, offboarding, internal moves)
- Assist with benefits administration, compliance filings, and documentation
- Help coordinate engagement surveys, team events, and internal communications
- Be a go-to resource for employees on HR-related questions and processes
- 3–5 years of experience in a talent acquisition and/or HR generalist role
- Proven track record managing full-cycle recruitment in a growing company
- Familiarity with ATS and HRIS systems
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and communication skills Empathy, professionalism, and the ability to build trust quickly with candidates and team members
- A self-starter mindset—you see gaps and fill them without waiting for direction
