Responsibilities

  • Research and identify B2B and/or strategic account targets; develop and execute a plan for driving sales within these channels.
  • Motivate, empower, train and mentor account managers to meet aggressive growth expectations of BAF products.
  • Support direct reports by participating in client and prospect consultations; engage additional BAF resources, as required.
  • Assist account managers with productive sales presentations, including quoting, technical demands, field visits, and negotiation in closing complex transactions through the development of long-lasting relationships.
  • Collaborate with BAF Marketing to create channel campaigns with targeted messaging to pursue aggressive growth targets.
  • Understand and optimize customer needs and purchase processes and ensure BAF is positioned to meet their business needs.
  • Manage pipelines, sales activities, and closed-won sales to ensure successful pipeline management; lead weekly/monthly cadence of one-on-ones and team-wide pipeline reviews and training sessions to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Support the annual operating plan and budget process and provide forecasts & updates to Sr. Leadership.
  • Collaborate with Sales Operations, Logistics, and Project Services to ensure customer requirements are fulfilled.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field, or equivalent experience
  • 7+ years direct B-to-B sales and strategic account management
  • 4+ years leadership, people development experience
  • Driven to succeed; thrives in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial work environment Prior experience with CRM, Salesforce preferred
  • Ability to work with a team or independently in a fast-paced environment with an entrepreneurial attitude
  • Excellent spoken and written communication, interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Travel Required (up to 50% of the time)
  • Bilingual (French) would be considered an asset
