Infrastructure Project Manager

Location: Toronto, Canada (Hybrid Work Environment)

Position Summary

We are seeking a seasoned Infrastructure Project Manager to join our dynamic team in

Toronto, Canada. This individual will be instrumental in managing a diverse portfolio of

infrastructure projects, such as telecom upgrades and system implementations, while

overseeing project dependencies across multiple sites. The ideal candidate will bring

strategic oversight, strong vendor coordination, and an agile mindset to ensure successful

project execution.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end management of IT infrastructure projects, ensuring delivery within

scope, schedule, and budget.

• Develop and manage comprehensive project plans including execution strategies (siteby-site vs. big bang).

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams across the US and Canada to align on

priorities, scope, and timelines.

• Engage with vendors to ensure alignment with project goals and timely delivery of

milestones.

• Resolve interdependencies, bottlenecks, and risks across infrastructure projects.

• Champion an Agile mindset and promote adaptability within teams while aligning with

current organizational methodologies.

• Work closely with the PMO to enforce governance, maintain project discipline, and

ensure alignment with corporate strategy.

• Monitor progress and provide consistent, transparent updates to stakeholders.

• Facilitate effective communication and coordination among internal and external

project participants.

• Serve as the primary liaison for vendor support and issue resolution.

Skills and Qualifications

• Minimum of 7 years of experience in IT infrastructure project management, preferably

within a multi-site environment.

• Demonstrated experience managing large-scale infrastructure initiatives, such as

telecom systems or enterprise software deployments.

• Strong vendor management skills with a track record of building and maintaining

productive vendor relationships.

• Proven ability to define strategies collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

• Familiarity with Agile practices and willingness to integrate agile concepts into

current workflows.

• In-depth understanding of IT governance, project frameworks, and alignment with

PMO standards.

• Excellent communication, negotiation, and organizational skills.

• Capable of managing multiple projects in a high-pressure, deadline-driven

environment.

• Fluent in English, both verbal and written.
