To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.
We have now completed our pivotal clinical study, and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.

Meaningful work you will be a part of
You will help develop a computer simulation tool for use with Kardium’s Globe Pulsed Field System software. This simulation is used for a multitude of purposes, including software development and testing, UX and Human Factors research, physician training, and marketing demonstrations.

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.
As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.

- Design and development of a real-time software simulation application containing physiological modelling and software emulation components
- Define requirements and specifications through collaboration with software/firmware developers, designers, testers, clinical trainers, and electrophysiology experts
- Investigate and resolve anomalous software behaviour
- Integrate and support the use of simulation into various workflows within Kardium

- A love of coding, where through your 2 to 5 years of experience you have gained advanced programming skills in any object-oriented language such as C++, Java or C#
- A degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field
- Proven ability to be a valued contributor in a disciplined software development process
- Well-developed written and verbal technical communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The willingness and ability to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate
- Real-time simulation
- Computer modelling
- Software emulation
- Software test infrastructure or tooling development
- Software development in the medical device or other regulated industry
- Knowledge of electrical circuits, signal processing, embedded systems, thermodynamics, numerical methods, human-computer interaction, or electrophysiology
