This is an ideal role for someone who loves financial analysis, has a curious mind for alternative risk solutions, and wants to help design strategies that genuinely make an impact.

What You’ll Do

As part of a collaborative client service team, you’ll:

  • Analyze risk tolerance, build financial models, and handle premium allocation, cash flow oversight, and tax calculations for captive insurance programs.
  • Support underwriting, policy wording, reinsurance agreements, and compliance documentation.
  • Contribute to RFPs, feasibility studies, and new client proposals. Stay on top of trends in captive insurance and help develop innovative solutions for HUB clients.
  • Work closely with auditors, actuaries, asset managers, and other partners.
  • Lead or support client training sessions, write thought leadership pieces, and champion best practices in alternative risk transfer.

What You’ll Need for Success

  • Post-secondary education (finance, risk management, or accounting preferred)
  • 3+ years in complex commercial insurance, risk management, or a related financial field
  • RIBO license (or willing to obtain within 6 months)
  • Advanced Excel and solid MS Office skills
  • Experience with RFPs and analytics modeling
  • Strong communicator and presenter — you’re comfortable explaining complex ideas clearly
  • A proactive, solutions-focused mindset with top-notch client service skills
  • Ability to travel within Canada (approx. 20%)
