Banded Peak Brewing is looking for a Maintenance Manager to join the growing production team. This position will be salary, full-time and report to the Operations Manager Prior brewery experience and education is encouraged. • Work with the operations manager to maintain preventative maintenance program for the facility,
• Conduct annual reviews and audits on the facility maintenance programs,
• Work with 3rd party contractors and ensure they are operating within the safety policies and practices of Banded Peak Brewing,
• Ensure all practices are in compliance with regulator bodies and maintain all necessary paperwork, permits and reporting,
• Promote safety awareness and conduct routine risk and hazard assessments with EHS Manager
• Coordinate with Operations and EHS managers to ensure all programs are compliant with ABI Zone safety and maintenance programs,
• Work with other Front-Line Managers to develop facility cleaning programs and ensure that they are properly adhered to.
• Work with operations manager and the rest of the production team to develop and implement new procedures or procure new equipment to ensure facility can operate safely and efficiently.
• Maintain an inventory of spare parts.

Requirements:

• 5 years experience in a brewery or similar food and beverage production facility
• Strong knowledge of the safe operation and maintenance of pumps, valves, boilers, pneumatics, and electronics.
• Excellent Communication skills – verbal, written
• Able to work within a team with strong interpersonal skills
• Well developed computer skills (Advance Excel)– SAP knowledge considered an asset

Preferred Skills and Qualifications:

• Previous experience in welding, plumbing, pipefitting or electrical work
• Project Management
