Our client is an Ottawa law firm located west of downtown. They are looking for an experienced legal assistant/law clerk to join their team and support a busy personal injury practice on a full-time, permanent basis.

Duties include but are not limited to:
- Preparation, assembly and filing of documents
- Preparing correspondence for professional’s approval/signature, memos to file and file updates
- Communication with clients (by phone, e-mail, etc.)
- Docketing and preparation and delivery of invoices
- Opening, maintaining, and closing files
- Faxing, photocopying, scanning, electronic and hard copy filing
- Other duties as required
The successful candidate will have the following:
- 5+ years of experience supporting a busy personal injury practice
- Legal Assistant or Law Clerk diploma/certificate an asset
- Excellent skills in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook, and keyboarding
- Excellent grammar skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities with specific attention to detail
- Must be extremely organized and be comfortable working with electronic documents
