Our Development Services Department is looking for a dedicated Land & Subdivision Officer to join the team.
Position Responsibilities
The Land & Subdivision Officer plays a key role in the effective management and administration of the land management process. This position is responsible for the leadership and management of municipal land related functions including: sales, acquisitions, leasing, encroachments, licenses and land swaps while maintaining confidentiality. It is also responsible for the management and administration of the subdivision process. This involves processing applications and in most instances, issuing decisions with conditions.
Qualifications
Certification through the Canadian Association of Land and Energy Professionals (CAPEL) or the International Right of Way Association (IRWA) and three years work experience in land purchasing, sales, leasing and processes. Working knowledge of real estate processes, municipal land transactions, land development and urban planning, marketing/public relations.
Hours
The standard workweek consists of an average of 35 hours, with the specific schedule being determined by the immediate supervisor.
Compensation
Starting salary $44.10 per hour as per the Out-of-Scope Agreement.
