About the role
Reporting to the Westbow Group Director of Operations, the General Manager of Mint plays a key leadership role in driving operational excellence and long-term growth. You’ll oversee core departments including Sales, Drafting, Marketing, Production, Procurement, and Quality Control. This role requires a hands-on leader who actively manages daily operations while driving continuous improvement and identifying growth opportunities. Annual Salary Range: $150,000-$200,000 CAD

What you’ll be doing
- Oversee day-to-day operations with a strong focus on driving efficiency, productivity, and quality across all departments.
- Coordinate and align efforts across Sales, Drafting, Marketing, Production, Procurement, and Quality Control to ensure streamlined workflows and optimal resource allocation.
- Lead confidently through change by bringing clarity during product shifts, restructuring, or process evolution.
- Maintain close communication with department leads to monitor progress, address operational needs, and ensure alignment with company goals.
- Make data-driven decisions by interpreting dashboards and operational reports to drive action.
- Oversee the full customer journey, from initial inquiry through to delivery, ensuring a consistent and reliable experience.
- Provide regular performance updates, insights, and reports to senior leadership and stakeholders; ensure all records are current and accurate.
- Develop and execute strategic business plans that support growth, profitability, and long-term sustainability.
- Analyze operational and financial performance to identify areas for improvement opportunities and implement targeted solutions.
- Manage budgeting, cost control, and revenue optimization across all business functions.
- Foster a collaborative environment that promotes cross-functional teamwork and shared accountability.
- Maintain and enhance a healthy organizational culture rooted in company values and focused on developing high-performing teams.
- Build the team for the future by developing leaders, delegating effectively, and creating space for others to grow.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with vendors, clients, and suppliers to support business operations and growth.
- Track market trends, competitor activity, and regulatory changes to stay ahead and adapt proactively.
- Promote a culture of continuous improvement by encouraging innovation, problem-solving, and the adoption of efficient processes.
What we’re looking for
- 5+ years of experience overseeing overall business operations, including team leadership and people management.
- 7+ years of experience in production or manufacturing; experience in modular manufacturing is considered a strong asset.
- Post- secondary education in Business Administration, Operations Management or a related field.
- Proven expertise in financial management, including budgeting, financial analysis, and interpreting financial statements.
- Demonstrated success in driving strategic business growth through planning, innovation, and effective execution.
- Must reside near the production facility or be open to relocation
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
