About The Role
Reporting to an Operations Processing Manager, the Wealth Operations Processing Analyst III will be part of the team that oversees trade settlements, fee management, and registered account administration.
The Analyst III must effectively manage time in an independent fashion, monitor and action multiple queues while keeping in mind the various Service Level Agreements and adhering to regulatory controls. This role requires daily queue oversight to ensure Service Level Agreements are achieved. It must foresee when there will be issues with this and proactively assist with the reallocation of resources to ensure work is completed according to the stated time commitments. This role may be required to be the point of contact for all rush requests or those requiring escalation.

About The Role

Accountabilities
You Will Find Success Based On Your Ability To
- Effectively provide training when processes change and/or new ones are added and/or new team members join the team.
- Leverage your knowledge of the wealth management industry to identify processing and services that can be improved and come up with change recommendations.
- Provide support and direction to the team for complex transactions
- Understand the scope of impact and when to escalate, if required, including documentation of identified risks to management.
- Prepare and review internal processing job aids and participate in process guide management and projects.
- Understand and relate the processing picture to the client story and provide client obsessed solutions in handling escalations.
- Performs quality assurance and ensures adherence to departmental guidelines and established SLAs
- Work independently and references regulations, laws and ATB Securities Inc. policies to help guide actions.
- Collaborate with our trading counterparties and other service providers confidently
- Apply knowledge of applicable legislation, internal policy and guidelines related to requests to guide actions.
- Effectively communicate by taking calls, answering emails and chat messages from both internal and external partners.
As the ideal candidate you possess:
- Post secondary education or diploma would be an asset.
- Strong technical proficiencies, including G-Suite programs, Dataphile, Salesforce, Fundserv, CDS and the ability to quickly learn various other technical programs related to the Investment Industry
- You are client obsessed, a champion of belonging, and driven to perform.
- Thrive working in a fast paced environment managing important deadlines and high volumes during peak times.
- Appreciate working with legal documentation such as, Pension documents, corporate ownership documents, fee addendum, letters of indemnity, letters of authorization/direction, estate documentation, share certificates, power of attorney documentation, etc.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- 3-5 years experience within the Securities Industry or CIRO licensed firm.
