2 year minimum experience is essential for this position. As a Millwright/Industrial Mechanic for Industrial Commercial Conveyor Assembly and Installations, you will be integral to the assembly, installation and maintenance of conveyor systems.

- Minimum of 2 year experience in a Millwright position is essential.
- Must be able to read blueprints.
- Must have own tools and transport.
- Comply with Site Safety Plan, Site Rules and arrangements.
- Install mechanical equipment to design specifications and drawings.
- Take instruction from assigned Mechanical Supervisors for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently.
- Install mechanical systems and their components for the purpose of ensuring the condition meet standards of previous installations as developed with Benchmark Catalogues.
- Install the mechanical system to the customer requirements.
- Report damage to equipment and tools for the purpose of ensuring availability in a safe operating condition.
- Participates in meetings, workshops, training and seminars, as assigned for the purpose of conveying and/or gathering information required to perform job functions.
- Engage in problems solving where appropriate regarding site activities.
- prevent fines and interruptions by complying with and enforcing the applicable codes and regulations.
- Undertake mechanical static checks recording within Static Check Sheets or site reporting tool.
- Responds to emergency situations during and after hours for the purpose of resolving immediate safety concerns.
- Transports a variety of tools, equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring the availability of materials required at job site.
- protect the mechanical systems from damage during installation.
- Liaise with contractors as instructed.
- Attend toolbox talk, safety stand down and other safety related meetings on site.
- Undertake lifting activities in a controlled manner in accordance with Lifting AP requirements.
- The nature of the job involves working closely with JCK site management on and ongoing basis regarding all matters in connection with the project site(s).
- Layout and prepare equipment for installation.
- Install material handling (conveyor) systems.
- Experienced in installing air piping (knowledge and ability to sweat copper pipe etc.).
- Line and level conveyors.
- Alignment/terminating/vulcanizing of belts.
- Millwright.
- Welding.
- Forklift certified.
- Scissor lift certified.
- Fall Protection trained.
- Working at Heights.
- Effective time management skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Active knowledge of safety guidelines in the industrial environment.
- Strong mechanical knowledge.
- Up to date knowledge of industrial tools.
