About The Role
The Operations and Admissions Manager plays a key leadership role at VCS, overseeing daily operations and managing our K–12 admissions process with excellence, care, and professionalism. This position supports the work of the Superintendent by ensuring that systems and processes run smoothly, school policies are well-implemented, and that new families have a welcoming and efficient admissions experience.
This is a full-time position, working on-site at the school, that involves working closely with school leadership, administrative staff, contractors, and external partners. There will be the occasional requirement to work evenings and weekends to support school events and attend to any urgent situations affecting the smooth operation of our school.

Key Responsibilities Operations Leadership
Your attention to detail, superior organizational skills and effective project management capabilities will enable you to effectively oversee and coordinate all non-academic operational areas of the school, including facilities, transportation, health and safety, and emergency procedures, to ensure the school is able to provide a safe and well-functioning environment that supports a positive educational experience for our staff and students.
Your excellent communication and interpersonal skills will allow you to successfully lead a team of dedicated staff, promote collaboration and communication across departments, and effectively manage service contracts and vendor relationships to support the smooth operations of the school.
Admissions Management
Your welcoming and responsive engagement with families will enable you to successfully lead and coordinate the K–12 admissions process, including application tracking and reporting, tours, interviews, and enrollment, ensuring a positive, professional experience for all prospective families that reflects our values, culture and mission.
Working collaboratively with Principals and other staff, you will ensure admissions processes and decisions align with the school's mission, values, policy and enrollment targets.
Qualifications And Requirements
To be successful in this position, ideally you will have a post-secondary education and/or relevant professional experience in operations, admissions, or project management.
Due to the nature of this role within a school environment, you will be required to return a satisfactory Criminal Record Search.
As this role is a key contributor in supporting the mission and vision of Vancouver Christian School, you will have a mature Christian faith that embodies the values of our school.
