Description

Image & Validation (I&V) is responsible for capturing and validating high-quality product images and associated data that our subscribers require to support trading activities and various other business processes.

The Senior Production Manager plays a critical leadership role within the Image & Validation (I&V) department, overseeing the entire production cycle (from reception/intake to work order completion). While not directly responsible for content creation, this role has overall accountability for the operational processes that enable it, managing intake workflows, capacity planning, scheduling, resource allocation, etc.

Blending people management, process optimization, and strategic execution, the Senior Production Manager works closely with our Senior Manager of Imaging Services and our Senior Director of
Subscriber Delivery and Support to resolve workflow issues and ensure timely, high-quality delivery in alignment with our subscriber experience, SLA and budget targets.

This role will champion a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement to promote efficient and scalable operations.



Key Responsibilities

  • Inspire, coach, and develop a diverse team to perform at their best, fostering a high-performance culture aligned with organizational values and goals.
  • Work closely with the Director of I&V Operations and the Operations Analyst to implement a full set of operational tools such as capacity models, production plans, forecasting, and productivity dashboards.
  • Oversee day-to-day operations and ensure the seamless execution of workflow planning and capability by coordinating work, maintaining production schedules, and managing resource allocation.
  • Oversee end-to-end process delivery, escalating issues to appropriate cross-functional teams when required, to ensure all Service Level Agreements (SLA) are met
  • Translate key performance indicators (KPIs) into actionable goals. Measuring the performance trends of the team and proactively addressing gaps through process, people, or technology enhancements.
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives such as Lean, Six Sigma, or 5S programs focused on customer feedback to enhance our services.
  • Oversee the maintenance and audit of production records, reports, and Standard Operating.
  • Procedures (SOPs) to ensure accuracy and compliance.
  • Champion a culture of collaboration, diversity and safety-first work environment.
  • Build strong cross-functional & interdepartmental relationships through proactive communication and collaboration.

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

• University degree in business or a related subject.
• Minimum 5-7 years leadership experience in a production style operation.
• Proven ability to inspire, coach, and manage high-performing teams.
• Strong analytical, investigative, problem-solving, planning and change management skills.
• Experience evaluating operational business processes and documentation of SOPs.
• Excellent interpersonal skills and professionalism, with the ability to build and maintain collaborative relationships across all levels.
• Confident decision-maker with the ability to navigate ambiguity and manage competing priorities.
• Ability to make informed recommendations and clearly articulate rationale.
• Demonstrates integrity, dependability, and commitment to professional excellence.

• Bilingual (French and English): This role requires proficiency in both French and English, as this position involves frequent communication with stakeholders and partners across Canada, including provinces
where English is the primary language.
