Job Summary

Performs the day-to-day operations of the house/hotel laundry.

• Reports To:Executive Housekeeper

Starting Wage for the position will be CA$20.23 on probation and will increase to CA$25.29 after probation is completed. Further after 6 months the rate will increase to CA$26.04

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year cleaning experience in a hotel or related industry.
• Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of guests, employees and management.
• Good organizational and problem-solving skills.
• Good oral communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 70 pounds.
  
  

Daily Tasks

• Wash, dry, and prepare required par stock of all linen for guest rooms and Food and Beverage Departments.
• Keep accurate records of daily productivity.
• Wash all bath and bed linens ensuring that only the highest standard in texture and appearance is evident, and Hotel standards are maintained.
• Folding and counting of quantities completed each day.
• Directly responsible for the cleanliness of the laundry area.
• Perform any other tasks assigned by Management.
