About The Opportunity
Our private sector client is looking for a Warehouse Picker to support their team. This is a hands-on, fast-paced role that plays a key part in ensuring critical supplies and rental equipment are prepared, cleaned, and dispatched accurately and efficiently.
Duties may include but are not limited to:
- Pick supply orders both physically and electronically using an RF scanner
- Pack orders using appropriate packing materials
- Clean and document incoming rental equipment
- Guide and support colleagues on order picking and discrepancies
- Report damaged items and document internal use supplies
- Stock shelves and maintain product presentation
- Complete required paperwork accurately
- Perform general cleaning duties within the warehouse
The successful candidate will have the following:
- Completion of high school
- At least 6 months of full-time experience working in a warehouse environment
- Basic math and computer literacy
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- Sound judgment and the ability to take initiative
- Steel toe boots
- Duration: ASAP til July 11th with a possibility of extension
- Hours of work: Wednesday to Sunday 3pm to 11:30pm.
- Location: Ottawa, ON
- Work Environment: Onsite
