Duties and Responsibilities:
- Load and unload inbound and outbound trucks with shoring, shielding and road plate with gross weight less than or equal to 8,500 lbs.
- Inspect returned equipment under 8,500 lbs, red tag, and cycle through the service workflow. Rotate equipment from wash bay, to necessary service bay, to prep and paint and back into the service line.
- Communicate damage to branch manager right away for Work Order management.
- Cycle equipment on Work Order through the necessary workflow, from wash bay, to welding bay, to paint then service line.
- Stay in constant communication with shoring technician, welder, wash bay and painter to ensure equipment is always moving into service.
- Keep the storage of vertical hydraulic shoring (rails, chudoform, and cylinders), build a box, XLAP shields, adjustable spreader and high arch spreader stacked, unbuild, serviced, and neatly organized at all times.
- Communicate parts requisitions to shop foreman for purchase.
- Wash/clean equipment, maintain clean physical facilities, organize equipment in the yard.
- Complete administrative tasks as assigned.
What You’ll Bring to the Team
- Must be able to lift up to approximately 50 lbs. (job aids available) and be comfortable working outdoors.
- Forklift experience is considered an asset but not required.
- Valid driver’s license.
- Team player with excellent attention to details as well as organization and problem-solving skills.
- Passionate about safety, especially when working with power tools.
- Flexibility; must be comfortable with managing and adapting to multiple changing priorities in a fast-paced work environment.
- Willing to work overtime when needed.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to converse with colleagues, customers, and other parties in a professional and courteous manner.
- Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
