Program Portfolio Oversight

  • Manage the backlog for deployment and support services for a cross functional team within a specific Customer Portfolio in
  • Apply and oversee Agile practices and continuous improvement initiatives for driving value generation and team performance.
  • Act as a champion for our work management systems, promoting best practices, driving adoption, and ensuring tools are used effectively across the team.
  • Leverage forecasting and resourcing tools to anticipate demand, identify capacity constraints, and proactively adjust plans. Deliver data-driven insights through tracking of team velocity, project health, risk indicators, and delivery timelines.
  • Allocate resources effectively across install base customers, new projects, and support activities, using data and historical trends to guide decisions.
  • Continuously monitor risks across the project lifecycle, working closely with project managers to ensure timely mitigation strategies are in place.
  • Attend kick-off meetings, Customer Operations meetings, and project leadership meetings relevant to your portfolio, contributing informed input and strategic direction.
  • Identify and lead process improvements that support department goals, operational efficiency, and cross-functional alignment.

Line Management:

  • Hold regular one-on-one meetings with each direct report to support well-being, check in on “gut feels,” and identify development areas early.
  • Take full ownership of the performance management cycle — from setting clear goals and providing ongoing coaching to leading mid-cycle and formal evaluations.
  • Monitor individual progress and assign relevant training or development plans using our internal learning resources and systems; follow up to ensure growth is tracked and supported.
  • Stay on top of workload visibility, time off planning, and time reporting to ensure team balance and accountability.
  • Lead or support the recruitment and onboarding of new team members, ensuring they are set up for success and connected to the team culture from day one.
  • Communicate regularly with leadership on team performance, challenges, training needs, and resourcing gaps, advocating for what your team needs to thrive.
  • Foster a healthy, collaborative team environment through proactive feedback, recognition, and attention to team morale.

So, are you a fit?

  • Bachelor's degree in business or related industry experience
  • Fluency in English (Fluency in French is an asset)
  • At least 5 years of work experience as a program or portfolio manager
  • At least 3 years of work experience as a People leader
  • Successful management of large, multi-facility, enterprise projects
  • Working knowledge of Infrastructure/IT

Also nice to have:

  • Speak more languages than those required above, particularly French
  • Have a PMP certification
  • Know Scrum for Deployment
  • Have a working knowledge of PACS/Radiology/DICOM and HL-7
  • Have experience with other cultures
  • Are innovative, drive change and look for improvements
  • Have interests besides school/work, such as sports, sports leader, music, horseback riding, singing or flying or anything else that makes you stand out from the crowd

Our salary range for this role falls between $115,000 and $137,900. The final salary offer will depend on several key factors, including the candidate's level of experience, their specific skill set, and the overall alignment with the job requirements. Other considerations may include the candidate’s education, certifications, and any additional relevant qualifications. We aim to offer a competitive salary that reflects the value each individual brings to our team.
