Primary Responsibilities
- Production of client contracts, agreements, negotiating summary plan descriptions (SPD's) and/or related employee plan documents
- Draft policies, certificates of coverage (COC), riders, amendments and agreements within established standards
- Advise and consult with internal and external customers, brokers and account management teams on issues relating to the content and administration of contract documents and/or regulatory or legislative matters
- Keep abreast of state and federal regulations as they relate to insurance licenses and other documents
- May be responsible for writing or reviewing SPDs for new or renewed business
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years related experience in a sales environment or high-level customer service environment
- Basic understanding of contracts and contract language
- Excellent MS Office skills, specifically advanced skills in MS Excel, and MS Word and good math skills
- Demonstrated highly developed organizational and multi-tasking skills and time management abilities
- Proven ability to learn quickly in a high paced, challenging environment
