Project Managers
Affinity

On behalf of our public sector client, Affinity is seeking experienced Project Managers with 10+ years leading complex, multi-stakeholder initiatives across the public and private sectors. Must have a proven track record managing cross-functional projects involving internal teams, government ministries, and external partners (e.g., healthcare providers, service vendors). Requires 5+ years of direct engagement with senior leadership, including executive-level presentations, and at least 5 years of public sector project experience.
Responsibilities:
• Implementation project to ensure the work meets key business objectives and is completed on time within budget;
• Manage team of employees/contractors;
• Manage project scope in collaboration with business stakeholders;
• Create project plans, project schedules, budgets, etc., and monitor against targets; produce variance reporting and explanations
• Actively manage project risks and issues, identify/initiate corrective action where required; conduct monthly risk assessments and report on risks and issues;
• Maintain progress measures and deliver status reporting;
• Ensure maximum efficiency in allocation of skills and resources within the project; maintain resource plans and forecasts for the project;
• Work collaboratively with the extended project team and key stakeholders
• Liaise and ensure adequate communication with project sponsors, business, stakeholders and the project team
• Manage dependencies between assigned project and other projects
Qualifications:
• Experience working in partnership with vendors in the delivery of complex projects with multiple stakeholders, with proven track record in collaborating and holding the vendors accountable to timeline and deliverables.
• Proven ability to work and communicate with all levels of management, with particular experience with senior management and executive levels
• Understanding of technical implementations and ability to work with technical resources
• Strong team management capabilities
• Strong communication and people management skills
• Experience in managing project with multiple external stakeholders both government and non-government
