On behalf of our Government Services client, Procom is searching for a Training Specialist - Senior for a 10 month contract role. This position is an onsite position at our client’s Toronto, Ontario office.


Training Specialist - Senior - Job Description:

The project involves delivering comprehensive training on the Public Safety Radio System (PSRN) for land and air ambulance services across Ontario. This initiative aims to enhance the skills of paramedics and Ministry stakeholders in operating the PSRN efficiently.


Training Specialist - Senior - Responsibilities:

• Deliver instruction and training to staff at 22 CACCs, 9000+ paramedics, and Ministry stakeholders
• Provide application and product training to both technical and non-technical users
• Document and deliver training documentation and PSRN training strategies
• Assist in the development and design of training material related to the project
• Evaluate and document individual participant performance and provide feedback
• Work alongside Ministry of Health representatives to ensure quality training materials
• Report progress against the training plan to the Training Lead
• Provide input and support the design and delivery of training programs
• Act as a province-wide resource for PSRN training programs
  
  
  

Training Specialist - Senior - Mandatory Skills:

• 5+ years of experience as a Trainer, preferably in Public Sector or Paramedic services
• Experience delivering training material to both technical and non-technical users
• Experience creating training material or user documentation in Public or Healthcare sector
• Demonstrated experience with Public Safety equipment systems such as PSRN
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel within Ontario
  
  
  

Training Specialist - Senior – Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Experience with the land ambulance sector and its stakeholders
• Knowledge of Emergency Health Services or Healthcare Sector
• Experience delivering training related to 24x7 critical environments
• Knowledge of Radio/Telephone systems and GIS
• Experience working on the PSRN project
