We are seeking an experienced and results-driven DevOps Manager to lead our infrastructure automation and operational reliability efforts within a large-scale data center environment. This role is ideal for a hands-on technical leader who can balance strategic planning with execution, guiding a team responsible for high-performance computing, continuous delivery, and systems resiliency.
We have grown substantially since 2019, from our inception in Australia to now having several facilities across North America and being listed on NASDAQ… and we are just getting started! Job Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field; advanced degrees are a plus.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or systems administration, with at least 2 years in a leadership or management role.
- Strong background in data center operations, high-availability systems, and hybrid infrastructure environments.
- Proficiency in automation and orchestration tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Jenkins, and GitLab CI.
- Expertise in containerization and orchestration technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.
- Solid understanding of Linux systems, networking fundamentals, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
- Experience implementing and managing monitoring and logging solutions such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, or similar.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, communication abilities, and a proactive leadership style.
- Relevant cloud certifications (AWS, Azure, GCP)
- Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
- DevOps or ITIL certifications
- Manage a team of Developers, fostering a culture of automation, scalability, and collaboration.
- Foster a culture of AI adoption and customer-oriented service creation.
- Develop and implement strategies for infrastructure-as-code, deployment automation, and operational monitoring.
- Manage the end-to-end lifecycle of datacenter infrastructure provisioning, including compute, storage, and network systems.
- Oversee the development and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines to ensure rapid, reliable, and secure code deployment.
- Establish and maintain systems for performance monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident response.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including software engineering, network operations, and security to align infrastructure with application requirements and compliance standards.
- Drive continuous improvement across deployment processes, system architecture, and disaster recovery readiness.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation for operational procedures, automation tools, and infrastructure environments.
- Ensure high availability and performance of mission-critical systems in production datacenters.
- Engage with internal stakeholders to propose solutions to business outcomes and run internal programs for rapid prototyping
- Contribute to capacity planning, technology roadmap, and budgeting processes to support infrastructure growth.
- Salary range: starting at CAD $150,000, depending on experience
