Sokin is looking for a Head of Regional Marketing – North America to join our team. You will lead the strategy and execution of Sokin’s marketing efforts across Canada and the U.S. Based in Toronto and reporting to the Director of Regional Marketing in London, you’ll work closely with our global marketing team and local stakeholders to drive brand growth and market penetration.

This is a senior leadership role that requires a strong blend of strategic thinking and hands-on execution. You will own go-to-market initiatives, build high-impact partnerships, and position Sokin as a leading fintech brand in the North American market.

Key Responsibilities

  • Regional Marketing Strategy & Activation
  • Develop and lead an integrated marketing strategy to build brand awareness and drive adoption across Canada and the U.S.
  • Adapt global campaigns for local relevance, aligning with North American market trends, compliance standards, and customer needs.
  • Identify target segments and emerging opportunities to fuel regional growth.
  • Go-to-Market Execution & ABM
  • Work with internal stakeholders and agency partners to deliver high-impact GTM initiatives.
  • Lead Account-Based Marketing (ABM) programs to engage enterprise clients and key decision-makers.
  • Partner with sales to build personalized marketing strategies for strategic accounts and verticals.
  • Drive launches of new products/services with cohesive messaging and cross-channel execution.
  • Develop locally tailored content that supports business objectives and reflects regional nuance.
  • Brand Positioning & Thought Leadership
  • Build Sokin’s brand presence in the North American fintech landscape through media, events, and thought leadership.
  • Cultivate relationships with Canadian and U.S. industry media, trade associations, and local influencers.
  • Represent Sokin at conferences, webinars, and panel discussions across the region.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
  • Align regional efforts with global marketing strategy and share regional insights with international teams.
  • Collaborate closely with sales, product, and customer success teams to ensure consistency in customer experience and messaging.
  • Manage relationships with North American marketing agencies, event vendors, and media outlets.
  • Performance Tracking & Optimization
  • Analyze campaign performance using data-driven KPIs and benchmarks.
  • Measure ABM effectiveness in driving pipeline growth, engagement, and revenue impact.
  • Provide regular performance updates and insights to the Director of Regional Marketing.
  • Optimize campaigns continuously based on data, market feedback, and business priorities.

What You’ll Bring

  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, with a focus on regional or field marketing within North America.
  • Proven success in growing brand presence and demand in complex, multi-market regions — fintech or payments experience strongly preferred.
  • Demonstrated expertise in Account-Based Marketing (ABM), including segmentation, campaign development, and measurement.
  • Experience operating within cross-functional, fast-paced, and international teams.
  • Strong organizational and project management capabilities with a bias for execution.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills tailored to North American business audiences.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to translate performance data into actionable insights.
  • Proficiency with modern marketing and CRM tools (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, Marketo, etc.).
