Position Overview: Compugen is seeking a IT Project Manager for a 8 month contract. We are looking for someone with experience with Software solution migration projects.

Key Responsibilities:

Project Leadership and Lifecycle Management

  • Leads and oversees the full project lifecycle, including planning, design, testing, training, product demonstrations, and solution adoption.
  • Adapts to evolving priorities and expectations to ensure successful project delivery.
  • Identifies and removes obstacles that may hinder project progress.


Stakeholder and Team Collaboration

  • Works collaboratively with cross-functional project teams and stakeholders to achieve desired outcomes.
  • Manages stakeholder engagement, including progress updates and financial reporting.
  • Negotiates resource requirements and adjusts team composition as needed to meet project goals.


Change Management and Solution Adoption

  • Develops and implements strategies to support solution adoption within a multidisciplinary project environment.
  • Facilitates on-the-job learning to promote modern service delivery and transformation practices across compny.


Vendor and Issue Management

  • Manages vendor relationships and coordinates timely resolution of issues.
  • Proactively identifies project risks and issues, developing mitigation strategies to address them.


Communication and Transparency

  • Ensures clear and consistent communication with both technical and non-technical stakeholders to enhance transparency.
  • Resolves conflicts effectively to maintain team cohesion and project momentum.


Performance Monitoring and Reporting

  • Maintains project metrics using management tools to track progress and ensure quality assurance.


Skills & Qualifications:

  • 5+ years in project management
  • Strong IT background (5+ years)
  • Experience with Agile and/or Waterfall methodologies
  • Application development experience
  • PMP and/or PRINCE2 certification preferred
