Who will you be working with?
As a member of the team at Unifin International, you will be working with the Receiving and Inventory Supervisor in the Receiving Department. You will report to the Receiving and Inventory Supervisor and work within a group of 31 unionized employees
How will you make a difference?
We are looking for an individual who has the knowledge, skills, and experience to fulfill the Receiver/Inventory role. This role oversees all incoming materials, as well as staging and kitting parts and materials for our jobs and keeping our inventory organized and accurate
What do we want to know about you?
- Able to work as an individual or with other departments to meet customer demands and expectations;
- Minimum 5 years as a highly experienced forklift operator with proven safety record. Experience unloading and loading flat beds, ranging from small to large crates, is a requirement;
- Overhead crane and electric pump cart experience;
- Experience with ERP systems;
- Attention to detail;
- Able to lift 50lbs.
- Always thinking of safety first;
- Unload incoming trucks, forklift, carts, and manually;
- Verify deliveries and opening packages for QA inspection;
- Moving parts within the facility using appropriate equipment;
- Pick, document and kit jobs using BOM provided and ERP system;
- Performing weekly cycle counts and annual Inventory;
- Notifying Supervisor of all discrepancies;
- Preparing spare parts jobs;
- Moving parts to be shipped to shipping and assisting when required;
- Moving parts within the facility to keep production going;
- Putting inventory in crib and Kanban within the time allotted;
- Referring to our ERP when needing to locate or verify availability of parts;
- Labelling parts and ensuring accuracy between our ERP and physical;
- Working with other departments if they need help finding parts;
