The Senior Network and Infrastructure Engineer plays a critical role in designing, deploying, and maintaining the core infrastructure that supports D2L’s global operations. This role blends deep technical expertise in enterprise networking and cloud infrastructure, with a focus on ensuring high availability, performance, scalability, and security across both on-premises and cloud environments, including platforms such as AWS and Azure.
The engineer will be responsible for managing the full lifecycle of physical network components (Aruba switches, firewalls, access points) and virtual network configurations in Azure. They will lead projects, optimize infrastructure performance, implement automation, and ensure all systems are documented and compliant with security standards. The ideal candidate is a strong collaborator, capable of mentoring peers, driving technical decisions, and owning network architecture end to end.

WHAT YOU'LL BRING TO THE ROLE:
The expected base salary range for a new hire in this role is listed below. The annualized base salary offered is determined by each candidate’s relevant knowledge, skills, education, training and experience. It is aligned to ensure both internal and external competitiveness using market data for the geographic location and industry. As part of the total compensation at D2L the role may be eligible for additional benefits including a Wellness Subsidy, Equity Grants, Variable Incentive, and more.
Base Salary Range
$90,000—$125,000 CAD
