Position Summary

The CSR I process orders, prepares correspondence, and fulfills customer needs to ensure customer satisfaction. Orders are handled through a variety of mechanisms from the time of entry through to shipment. The CSR I work in a team environment to accomplish Customer Service goals and objectives. Reports to Customer Service Supervisor.

Position Responsibilities

  • Enter, proof, and edit customer orders and back-orders according to published policies and procedures to ensure accurate pricing, shipping, and customized text instructions. 84%*
  • Record and process non-compliance issues through designated quality process. 1%
  • Respond to customer order inquiries received from a variety of channels. 5%
  • Coordinate problem resolution with internal partners and sales representative agencies. 5%
  • Other duties as assigned. 5%
  • Essential Job Functions

Required

Knowledge and Experience

  • One (1) to three (3) years prior customer service experience.
  • Knowledge of commonly used customer service concepts, practices, and procedures.
  • Microsoft Office proficiency.
  • English language fluency in both oral and written form.
  • Good oral and written communications skills.

Preferred

  • LEAN process orientation.

Education and Certification:

Required

  • High School diploma or equivalent (GED) required.

Preferred

  • Undergraduate degree preferred
