The Marketing Administrator - Alberta reporting to the Marketing Admin Manager - Alberta is based in Sherwood Park. Marketing Administrator works collaboratively with our national training and development team to book and coordinate training events across the country. They coordinate the procurement and distribution of promotional items and support the day-to-day functions of the marketing administration team, including the creation of point-of-sale materials to support the dealer’s marketing of our products. They handle communications between teams to ensure marketing initiatives are met to the highest standards of each party.
Hours of work will be: Monday to Thursday 8:00am - 4:30pm and Friday 8:00am - 3:30pm.

Essential Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to create engaging and informative content.
- Organize writing schedules to complete content drafts or finished projects with deadlines.
- Produce well-researched content for various projects.
- Developing, creating, and maintaining all point-of-sale material.
- Ensuring that all new and updated point of sale material is made available on our intranet and that inactive material is removed to ensure that our intranet is a reliable source for accurate material.
- Assisting customers, dealerships, trainers, and account managers with inquiries or requests via phone, email, or in person.
- Completing or updating competitor comparisons as new material is received from the field.
- Work with suppliers to purchase workshop supplies and branded prizes, including seasonal golf items, workshop giveaways, and Christmas gifts and cards for FCFG dealers.
- Providing support to the Shipping & Inventory Administrator, as needed.
- Pulling orders from inventory, packing orders, and creating appropriate shipping labels using multiple shipping platforms (processing on average 15 to 25 orders daily).
- Assembling components of various point-of-sale items into finished products and kits.
- Receiving inventory, validating orders, and putting orders away as they arrive from suppliers.
- Receiving and processing orders from dealers and field staff via phone and email.
- Receiving and processing chemical product and equipment orders from the Product Orders team.
- Manage marketing aisles in the warehouse, inventory counts, and marketing product stock.
- Other duties as required.
- A related post-secondary degree/diploma in journalism/communication, marketing, or business administration is required.
- 3 to 4 years of experience in journalism/communication, marketing, or business administration is required.
- Proven record of excellent writing demonstrated in a professional portfolio.
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail.
- Strong and confident communicator, both written and oral.
- Strong writing, editing, and revision skills.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills; works effectively and collaboratively within a team and independently with minimal supervision.
- Exceptional customer service skills.
- Prior experience in the Auto or Insurance industry is preferred but not required.
- Knowledge of Adobe Acrobat Pro, Adobe Photoshop, Canva, and IBMi-AS400.
- Intermediate skill with Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) is required.
- Fluent in English with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is required.
- Fluent in French with proven competencies in verbal and written communication is an asset.
- Successful completion of a criminal background check, education verification and employment reference checks is required before employment.
