Our client is looking for an experienced Site Supervisor to lead a major airport construction project, ensuring it's completed safely, on schedule, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing on-site teams, coordinating with stakeholders, and enforcing compliance with all safety and construction regulations.

Description

  • Supervise daily on-site construction activities and workforce

  • Coordinate with subcontractors, trades, and internal teams

  • Ensure work aligns with project plans, timelines, and specifications

  • Monitor and enforce safety compliance according to company and airport standards

  • Communicate regularly with the Project Manager and stakeholders

  • Conduct safety inspections and manage risk assessments

  • Maintain accurate site records, including attendance and daily logs

  • Review and interpret blueprints and construction documents

  • Identify and recommend improvements to optimize site operations

  • Submit weekly progress reports to the project team

Profile

  • Minimum 7 years of experience supervising airport or commercial construction sites

  • Proven experience working in a live store environment, managing construction without disrupting ongoing operations

  • Strong understanding of construction safety standards and airport protocols

  • Certified in Working at Heights, First Aid, CPR, and Basics of Supervision

  • Demonstrated leadership skills with the ability to manage teams and subcontractors

  • Excellent communication and coordination abilities

  • Organized, proactive, and able to handle high-pressure situations

  • Skilled at reading and interpreting blueprints and technical documents

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams); Microsoft Project is an asset

  • Hands-on construction experience (e.g., carpentry, framing, layout) is a plus

  • Flexible to work day or night shifts as needed

  • Familiarity with multiple trades (HVAC, electrical, plumbing, etc.) is considered a bonus
