Position Summary


We are looking for a Senior Associate, Corporate Strategy for the Strategy & Corporate Development team within Finance. The incumbent should have strong analytical and organizational capabilities that can immediately contribute and help us tackle the opportunities and challenges that arise from our rapidly growing business. The incumbent will be responsible to support various business initiatives in the organization such as performing business & financial analyses on various aspects of the business, investigate operational challenges, and help prepare management presentations for Metergy’s senior leadership. This role is highly collaborative and the incumbent will be expected to maintain relationships between Finance and various operational departments within the organization.



Responsibilities:

  • Support the active projects of the Strategy & Corporate Development team including annual business planning, acquisitions, financings, new market entry and any special projects as required
  • Build and maintain financial models to assess profitability and feasibility of projects
  • Analyze and synthesize key insights from diverse data sources to drive strategy and inform decision making
  • Help standardize organizational processes to increase efficiency around KPI gathering, cost analysis and deal pricing
  • Prepare monthly Monthly/Quarterly Business Review presentations for senior leadership
  • Engage and build strong relationships with stakeholders to incorporate their goals, and instill confidence to ensure alignment to and adoption of solutions
  • Maintain documentation regarding various projects, processes and operations



Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance or related field
  • 2+ years of experience in strategy consulting, corporate development, corporate finance, investment banking or transaction advisory
  • Strong quantitative skills focused financial analysis, accounting and financial theory
  • High curiosity, passion for continuous learning and creative problem solving
  • Self directed, highly motivated and able to work independently
  • High level of attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple competing priorities and thrive in a fast paced and challenging environment
  • Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and PowerPoint
