As the Managing Director for Klimas Canada, you will be responsible for establishing and leading our Canadian operations. As the Managing Director for Klimas Canada, you will be responsible for establishing and leading our Canadian operations. We are expanding our presence in Canada and seeking a dedicated and experienced Country Manager to drive business growth, manage operations, and lead our future Canadian team.
Key Responsibilities And Tasks
- Establish, develop and execute the strategic business plan for the Canadian market
- Establish the Canadian office and build operational infrastructure, warehouse, and logistics
- Drive market penetration and revenue growth in alignment with company objectives
- Build and nurture strategic partnerships with top-tier companies to drive business growth across the Canada
- Build relationships with key clients, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Ensure compliance with Canadian regulations and business requirements
- Collaborate with global leadership to align Canadian operations with overall company strategy
- Manage P&L responsibility for the Canadian business unit
- Report on business performance and provide market insights to global leadership
- Progressively recruit, lead, and develop a talented team across sales, operations, and support functions
- Collaborate with a team of experts and share insights with senior executives and founders, helping them build their dream teams.
- 10+ years of progressive leadership experience, with at least 5 years in senior management roles
- Proven track record of successfully launching or scaling business operations
- Experience in the Canadian market, preferably with established industry connections
- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets and P&L
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to build and motivate high-performing teams
- Strategic thinker with excellent problem-solving abilities
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to operate in ambiguous environments
- Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent advanced degree preferred
