- Conduct comprehensive evaluations of the client's hand and upper extremity function.
- Develop and implement customized treatment plans based on client needs.
- Provide therapeutic interventions, including exercises, manual therapy, and the use of specialized equipment.
- Educate patients and their families about injury prevention, recovery, and management strategies.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.
- Stay informed about the latest advancements in hand therapy and incorporate best practices into patient care.
- Certification as a Hand Therapist (CHT) is required.
- Licensed Occupational Therapist (OT) or Physical Therapist (PT) in good standing with the College of Health and Care Professionals of British Columbia.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Commitment to providing high-quality care and patient satisfaction.
