About The Position

In this role the chosen candidate will be working directly with the Commercial Manager overseeing Commercial aspects of the Port Colborne facility for both the mill and mix plant operations. They will also be working with colleagues in the Buffalo, Spokane and Decatur facilities to continue advancing ADM’s corporate strategies surrounding facility growth and network optimization. As the ADM Milling group in Ontario strives to expand product offerings into the region, Port Colborne will be taking a lead role in facilitating this. The Assistant Commercial Manager will be helping to lead these efforts.

Duties And Responsibilities

  • Report to the Commercial Manager
  • Wheat Inventory Management
  • Wheat Blend Management
  • Flour & Bakery Mix Contract Pricing
  • Manage Commercial KPI & OTIF Tracking
  • Participate in Facility P&L and Budget Reviews
  • Oversee Month End Reporting Responsibilities
  • Production & Position Report Reviews & Approvals
  • Assist with Facility Internal & 3rd Party Audits
  • Review Inventory Reports and Schedules
  • Complete Scheduling Position Training
  • Work with National Sales Team to Drive Network Growth
  • Primary Vacation Backup for the Commercial Manager
