Commercial Specialist, Vaughan

Reporting to the Store Manager, the Commercial Sales Specialist is responsible for the development of profitable growth of the commercial business via customer retention and growth and proactively managing and owing the customer relationship.
- Assess and determine customers’ parts requirements with a goal to provide recommendations for current and future needs.
- Leads and supports the drive to build a Sales Obsessed Culture by providing an exceptional customer experience.
- Proactively provides resolution as required to commercial customer issues / displaying critical problem solving.
- Supports the commercial sales team by providing customer service support.
- Proactively generates sales through all tools provided which includes regular communication and support as well as flyer and promotional program.
- Manages execution of delivery of product in a timely manner.
Requirements include but are not limited to:
- Proven ability to take initiative and execute on plans
- Strong communication skills
- Ability to operate independently, time management and multi task
- High energy, enthusiasm and a drive to succeed
- Fundamental computer skills an asset
- Expert knowledge of automotive parts and systems
- Working knowledge of automotive systems, and diagnostic ability to include: internal engine, suspension, brakes, exhaust, etc.
- A good base of knowledge of automotive operating systems including point of sale
- Functional literacy and capability of recognizing part numbers and line codes to ensure the proper selection of parts
- Passion for automotive or automotive enthusiasts
- Able to work retail hours including scheduled evenings, weekends and holidays.
Assets:
- Possession of a valid Driver's License
- Automotive Training or Certification is an Asset
