Your Role And Responsibilities

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Test Lead to spearhead repeatable pricing initiatives for one of our clients to manage the Offers, Pricing, and Promotions domain for the diverse suite of Bell brands across various channels. This pivotal role demands a seasoned professional capable of driving testing strategies, ensuring quality assurance, and leading both onshore and offshore teams to deliver flawless pricing solutions. The successful candidate will possess deep technical expertise in telecommunications ordering, provisioning, and billing systems, coupled with exceptional leadership and stakeholder management capabilities.

Key Responsibilities

• You will define and implement comprehensive test strategies and test plans for repeatable pricing functionalities across various Bell brands, ensuring alignment with business requirements and technical specifications.
• You will lead and mentor a team of test engineers, both onshore and offshore, providing guidance, training, and support to foster a high-performing and collaborative environment.
• You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and business analysts, to understand requirements and translate them into effective test scenarios.
• You will design, develop, and execute test cases, scripts, and automated test suites to thoroughly validate the functionality, performance, and reliability of pricing configurations.
• You will identify, document, and track defects using JIRA, ensuring timely resolution and retesting to maintain high-quality standards throughout the development lifecycle.
• You will analyze test results, prepare comprehensive test reports, and communicate findings to stakeholders, providing insights into areas for improvement and optimization.
• You will actively participate in sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and retrospective meetings, contributing to the agile development process and continuous improvement initiatives.
• You will maintain a strong understanding of industry best practices in software testing, quality assurance, and test automation, applying them to enhance our testing methodologies.
• You will contribute to the establishment and maintenance of a robust CI/CD pipeline, ensuring seamless integration of testing into the development and deployment processes.
• You will proactively identify and mitigate risks associated with testing activities, ensuring timely escalation and resolution of critical issues to minimize impact on project timelines
  
  

Preferred Education

Bachelor's Degree

Required Technical And Professional Expertise

• Possession of a bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experienced in software testing, with at least five years in a test lead or similar leadership role.
• Extensive experience in testing Telecom Ordering, Provisioning, and Billing systems, demonstrating a deep understanding of the complexities involved
• Demonstrated expertise in automation testing, utilizing Selenium or similar tools, to design, develop, and execute automated test scripts.
• Proven ability to lead and manage a team of 10-15 offshore testers, effectively delegating tasks, providing mentorship, and ensuring team cohesion.
• Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, capable of identifying and resolving complex issues in a timely and efficient manner
