The Surrey Distibution Center is seeking to fill the position of Material Handler
Key Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and store incoming materials and products.
- Prepare orders for shipment according to company standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts and tugger tractors.
- Inspect incoming and outgoing shipments for accuracy and quality.
- Keep warehouse clean, organized, and compliant with safety regulations.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks/railcars/export containers as needed.
- Work collaboratively with team members and supervisors to meet warehouse goals.
- Class 1 license is required
- Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs and sit in a lift truck for extended periods.
- Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) is a plus.
- Forklift certification (or willingness to obtain certification)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and physically demanding environment.
- The shift times are unknown as they could be Mon – Fri 3:30PM to Midnight or Fri – Mon 5:00AM to 3:30PM.
