Our Expectations

Reporting to the Manager, Marketing – Sponsorships, Local Marketing, and Affiliates, the Marketing Specialist actively contributes to the development and execution of 360° plans and campaigns to promote the brand, products, and services both externally and internally. The selected candidate will work closely with other departments within the Marketing team as well as with partner agencies.

The Role

  • Lead multidisciplinary marketing projects, including 360° campaigns, from briefing to delivery, while adhering to budgets and timelines.
  • Ensure the creation of relevant and consistent content aligned with campaign objectives and media plans.
  • Write clear and comprehensive creative briefs, and supervise project execution in collaboration with the internal studio and external agencies.
  • Support internal clients in defining and implementing their marketing and communication strategies, ensuring brand image consistency.
  • Plan and execute local marketing initiatives and in-store activations in partnership with internal collaborators.
  • Manage the planning, execution, and promotion of RONA Kids' DIY Workshops held in stores across the country.
  • Analyze and handle sponsorship requests and actively contribute to the deployment of partnerships aligned with the company’s strategic objectives.
  • Implement and promote the national minor hockey sponsorship program, "Les Recrues RONA," ensuring its visibility across the country.

What We’re Looking For

  • University degree in Marketing or a related field
  • 3 to 5 years of relevant professional experience
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and ease in connecting with others
  • Creativity, innovation, and autonomy
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
  • Experience in retail (an asset)
  • Knowledge of the sports sponsorship landscape (an asset)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
