How You Will Contribute And What You Will Learn
- Drive the successful execution of multidiscipline programs that combine hardware and software development.
- Lead cross-functional teams in defining program scope and ensuring alignment with business objectives.
- Create, track, and manage detailed schedules and milestones for product development from concept to mass production.
- Facilitate effective communication across stakeholders, including executive management, on status, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Champion best practices in project management, including adherence to Nokia's Product Life-Cycle Process and conducting milestone reviews.
- Proactively identify and resolve interdependencies and issues that may impact program success.
- Mentor and guide team members from diverse backgrounds, fostering collaboration and consensus across disciplines.
- Utilize project management tools, such as Jira, to enable efficient tracking and reporting of project activities.
You have:
- Bachelor's degree with 10+ years of relevant experience
- Proven track record managing large global technology initiatives
- Experience in both hardware and software project management
- Strong competency in Jira for project tracking and management
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Experience in the telecommunications or optical industry
- Certification in project/program management (e.g., PMP)
- Familiarity with both waterfall and agile methodologies
- Ability to effectively lead diverse groups with varied skillsets
