Responsibilities
The CEMS Language Coordinator will perform a wide range of administrative duties to support the CEMS Program at Ivey. The incumbent will carry out administrative functions, communicate and build relationships with a wide range of internal and external contacts. The Coordinator-Officer will anticipate and resolve issues, coordinate projects, and the implementation of administrative systems and procedures. The incumbent will serve as a principal source of information regarding administrative functions, and may monitor budgets and financial processes. The incumbent may be required to provide analysis, information and reports on primary business objectives (e.g. student applications, research funding, budget for event).
Qualifications
Education:
- Undergraduate Degree, in Business Management/Administration preferred
Experience:
- 1 year of administrative experience in an office environment
Skills, Abilities & Expertise:
- Knowledge of general office procedures
- Familiarity with financial records management
- Familiarity with Human Resources principles and practices
- Familiarity with University policies and procedures preferred
- Ability to ensure expenditures and resources are within allotments, and to make appropriate modifications when required
- Ability to foster collaboration and respect among team members
- Communication skills with confidence interacting with individuals at all levels of an organization
- Intermediate computer skills in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to apply creativity, innovation and resourcefulness to daily work
- Customer service skills with a desire to achieve results in a professional and timely manner
- Detail-oriented with an ability to function and process information with high levels of accuracy
- Ability to create a positive impression while interacting with others and responding to inquiries, by telephone, in person or electronically
- Results-oriented with an ability to handle many tasks and maintain a high level of individual and team performance
