Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled M365 SharePoint Design & Technical Writer to support our Security Operations Center (SOC). This role combines expertise in SharePoint site design with strong technical writing capabilities to enhance operational efficiency, ensure accurate documentation of SOC processes, and manage client-specific documentation securely and effectively.

Key Responsibilities

SharePoint Design & Administration

  • Design, develop, and maintain SharePoint Online sites tailored to SOC workflows and collaboration needs
  • Implement intuitive site structures, dashboards, and document libraries to streamline access to critical information
  • Ensure SharePoint solutions align with M365 governance, compliance, and security best practices
  • Collaborate with SOC leadership to identify opportunities for automation and improved knowledge management

Technical Writing

  • Create, update, and maintain comprehensive documentation for SOC processes, procedures, and playbooks
  • Translate complex technical concepts into clear, concise, and user-friendly documentation
  • Ensure all documentation adheres to internal standards and is audit-ready

Documentation Management

  • Administer and organize all SOC documentation, with a focus on client-specific materials
  • Implement version control, access permissions, and archival processes to maintain document integrity and confidentiality
  • Coordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely updates and reviews of critical documentation

Qualifications

Required:

  • Proven experience designing and managing SharePoint Online sites within Microsoft 365
  • Strong technical writing background, preferably in cybersecurity or SOC environments
  • Familiarity with SOC operations, terminology, and documentation standards
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools including Teams, OneDrive, and Power Automate
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills
