We are hiring an In-Room Dining/Bar Cart Attendant!

OUR ROLE
We are in search of an In-room Dining Server/Bar Cart Attendant, responsible for preparing orders, setting trays and delivering items, including ice, amenities, etc., to guest rooms in an attentive and efficient manner, ensuring to provide excellent quality service as per hotel standards.
Key Accountabilities Include
Consistently deliver exceptional service to guests and associates, alike.
Set tables and trays according to type of food ordered and the hotel’s service standards.
Accurately record, pre-check and pick-up all food and beverage orders.
Check in with guests to ensure satisfaction with each food course and/or beverages.
Clean and remove the trolleys/trays from guest rooms and corridor.
Serve guests their food and beverage in prompt, courteous manner as per the standard sequence of service.
Present physical and accurate check to guest and complete the payment process.
Report guest complaints immediately to the supervisor and ensure follow up is performed with the guest.
Complete closing duties, including restocking items, turning off lights, etc.
Maintain cleanliness of work areas, chinaware, glassware, etc., throughout the day.
Assist in carrying out scheduled inventories of products and operating equipment.
Ensure good communication between Kitchen, Order-taker and service team members.
Respond to GXP requests to stock and replace missing bar cart items, liquor, snacks, glassware, menus, etc.
Deliver amenities to guest rooms prior to arrival.
Deliver Ice to guest rooms prior to arrival.
Inspect and clean the bar cart in accordance with departmental procedures and policies.
Maintain, track and submit bar cart usage to the front desk for accurate billing.
Maintain the bar cart storage area in terms of par stock, rotating stock, organization and cleanliness.
Ensure products on bar cart are not expired and take the proper procedure to remove those products as necessary.
Properly complete, maintain and track inventory in assigned storerooms; notifying the department head when ordering is necessary.
Comply with health and safety regulations.
YOUR STORY
Previous experience as an In-Room Dining Server or Restaurant Server in a hotel environment.
Someone with an outstanding work ethic, along with a track record of reliability, punctuality and an approachable demeanor, with a strong commitment to Safety.
Someone with excellent communication and customer service skills.
Able to work well under pressure, multitask and enjoys a fast-paced environment.
Somone with a positive attitude, eagerness to learn and prefers to work as part of a team.
Exceptional customer service skills.
Knowledge of food handling, food safety, and basic math skills.
Valid ProServe certification.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Physically able to stand and walk for extended periods of time and lift up to 25 lbs.
