As Credit Risk Manager you will effectively manage all day-to-day financial responsibilities as required by the Knowledge center to minimizing bad debt for assigned companies and responsible for analyzing and managing the financial risks

How you create impact

  • Assist the Finance Director in meeting the targets set forth in both Compliance Plan and the Risk Management Plan.
  • Managing Credit Risk Analyst staff supporting assigned company.
  • Coordinating communication with Credit Insurance for Credit Coverage
  • Organizing and participating on Financial Statements review or in person visits with existing or new customers VP of Finance and or CFO’s.
  • Liaise with Branch Managers, Area Controllers, Sales with ultimate escalation of credit situations with external and internal customers
  • General Accounting responsibilities. To ensure that credit risk goals are achieved; and accurate business records and sound bookkeeping procedures are maintained.
  • Development, analyze credit reports + Financial Statements regularly
  • Hosting learning webinars via the Kuehne+Nagel Learning Platform (Onboarding+ Insurance)
  • Assist various levels of management with any/all queries regarding business health and trends (i.e. Risk Alerts, Credit Limit reduction or Suspension, etc.)
  • Review and validation of all business cases for all US companies going to Local and Global CFO.
  • Provide coaching, mentorship and development for existing and new employees
  • Perform ongoing and annual ‘Performance Reviews’ for responsible Team members
  • Back up support for Credit Insurance coordination for all US companies

What we would like you to bring

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in a related field and in supervisory role3+ years of underwriting experience in Corporate Insurance
  • Experience in credit analysis, risk modeling, and portfolio management is highly desirable
  • Advanced knowledge in MS Applications (Excel, PowerPoint and Word)
  • High standards of confidentiality to handle sensitive information
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills to evaluate complex financial data and identify potential risks
  • Ability to communicate complex information clearly and effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Proven Experience in leading a team and motivate team
