What You’ll Like About This Job

Finning Canada is hiring experienced Gas Compression Technicians in Fort St. John for high-wage field roles focused on maintaining and overhauling natural gas engines and compressors. With minimal training provided, this opportunity is ideal for candidates experienced with G3600s and similar systems. The position includes full union benefits, travel allowance, and camp accommodations.

What You’ll Need

• Journeyperson certification (HET, Electrician, or Millwright)
• Field experience with gas compression systems, especially G3600 engines
• Ability to work independently in remote conditions
• Fit-tested and respirator-qualified
• Strong mechanical and diagnostic skills
  
  

What Will Make You Stand Out

• Commissioning or start-up experience
• Familiarity with non-CAT systems (Waukesha, Ariel, Cummins)
• Gas well servicing background
