About the role
We’re looking for a Project Manager – Specialty Lines to join our team!
This position is a full-time permanent position and can be based in any Intact office nationally.
What you’ll do here:
Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans for the Contact 2.0 deployment, outlining deliverables, timelines, and resource allocation
Manage the detailed project schedule and project management plans
Oversee project evolution, ensuring progress communication with all stakeholders
Facilitate meetings and deliver presentations focusing on project milestones, issue resolution, and status updates
Conduct project reporting to track the deployment's progress and success
Identify and address issues promptly, implementing solutions and action plans
Manage project risks, particularly in deployment aspects, ensuring robust governance
Utilize appropriate project management methodologies throughout the Contact 2.0 lifecycle
Ensure the project team has the necessary tools and resources to achieve successful outcomes.
What you bring to the table:
Education: BA or PMP or willing to obtain - required
Minimum 3 years experience managing projects from start to end - required
P&C Insurance industry work experience - required
Can manage multiple projects simultaneously
Clearly demonstrated strategic vision
Strong communication skills written and oral with the ability to influence others and manage change
Strong interpersonal and analytical skills
Can build and maintain strong working relationships with all levels of management and staff Influence and negotiation to gain support and achieve consensus
Strong problem-solving skills and ability to influence others
Motivation and persuasion skills
Can work effectively both independently and in team environments
No Canadian work experience required however must be eligible to work in Canada.
For candidates located in Quebec, bilingualism is required considering the necessity to interact on a regular basis with English-speaking colleagues across the country
