Do you want the opportunity to tackle challenges and make a real difference? We are seeking a Director, Consulting Delivery to join our rapidly growing Atlantic Global Delivery Centre team.

As a Director, Consulting Delivery, the successful candidate will be responsible for end-to-end service delivery management, client relationship management, financial management, and team leadership while managing service delivery for a large enterprise account and / or portfolio of accounts. To succeed, you must be a customer focused, process-oriented information technology professional with strong interpersonal and communication skills. You bring experience working with large multi-million dollar accounts and have a strong delivery focus. This director role will be responsible for the Data as a Service team and will be tasked with further elaborating and developing our Data Practice.

This role is onsite and can be located in Halifax, NS or Moncton, NB.

Your future duties and responsibilities

Act as the primary delivery leader for a banking enterprise account and/or portfolio of accounts with responsibility for engagement financials, client relationships, and service delivery outcomes.

Service Delivery Management

  • Maintain a high level of client satisfaction by providing high quality, high value services
  • Manage to SLAs and SLOs as appropriate
  • Manage client interactions, meetings, issues, escalations and risks
  • Build / coordinate plans for continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
  • Apply CGI Quality principles, methodologies, processes and best practices which are in line with industry best practices
  • Identify opportunities to implement new technologies, processes and application software optimization within the scope of the service

Client Relationship Management

  • Develop strong, trusted relationships with internal and external clients by helping them achieve their goals through driving business outcomes via value-added services

Financial and Account Management

  • Assist in achieving CGI’s business and strategic goals within a major account or portfolio of accounts
  • Meet or exceed budgeted revenue and margin targets
  • Develop and achieve forecasts
  • Manage team utilization
  • Develop annual account plans and budgets

Partner Management

  • Lead and manage a team of 25+ employees (we call employees "Partners" at CGI)
  • Support the assignment, recruitment and career development of team members in line with client needs and market evolution
  • Provide leadership, mentoring, training and coaching to team members and assist them in completing their delivery work efficiently and productively

Required Qualifications To Be Successful In This Role

  • Strong background in Data (5+ years) with hands-on technical skills
  • Minimum 8 years working in the Information Technology industry
  • At least 5 years of experience in a leadership role, leading teams of more than 10 direct reports
  • IT professional services experience is required
  • Demonstrated deep understanding of and track record in IT service delivery
  • Proficiency in managing IT operations within budget and to a high degree of customer satisfaction
  • Solid financial skills and ability to work with complex financial models and P&L analysis
  • Solution development skills and expertise
  • Proposal development experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, computer engineering or business or a combination of these disciplines

Asset Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting a banking client
  • ITIL certification in IT Service Management
  • PMI/PMP Certification
  • Knowledge of CMMI and ISO Quality management principles
  • Advanced degrees (such as Masters) are a strong asset
