What You'll Be Doing
- Support daily office and warehouse operations by organizing workload priorities, managing supplies, performing data entry and filing, scheduling, and providing administrative assistance as needed.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and vendors in the office. Ensuring guests are greeted while handling incoming and outgoing mail.
- Act as a dynamic link by navigating between the front desk and warehouse throughout the workday.
- Accurately pack and ship internal fulfilment (IF) orders, ensuring all outgoing shipments are properly documented and labeled.
- Tag all skids and pallets with corresponding IF or PO identifiers for clear tracking and inventory control
- Maintain and organize parts stock, ensuring inventory levels are monitored and storage areas are tidy and accessible.
- Verify that all incoming deliveries match accompanying paperwork, resolving discrepancies as needed while maintaining accurate records for tracking purposes.
- Assist Project Coordinators and Logistics team to ensure accurate and timely delivery of goods.
- Communicate effectively with internal and external vendors regarding delivery schedules, discrepancies, and inventory needs.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse and office, including regular garbage and recycle removal as well as ensuring workspaces are tidy and safety standards are upheld to support efficient warehouse operations.
- Other administrative and operational tasks as required.
- Post secondary education in Office Administration, Business Administration, Supply Chain Management or another related field.
- A minimum of one to two (1-2) years’ experience in administration; experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics considered an asset.
- Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office; experience with an ERP system considered an asset.
- Strong communication skills with both internal and external project stakeholders.
- Highly developed customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and effectively while prioritizing work schedule and completing assigned duties within timelines.
- The ability to bend, lift, crouch, kneel and life up to 50lbs
- Demonstrate a high degree of confidentiality.
- Effective organizational and problem-solving skills
