Job Summary

The Territory Sales Manager (TSM) is a seasoned sales leader who will be assigned primary responsibility for achieving the company’s objectives within an assigned territory. Ideally based out of Vancouver, BC the TSM’s key role is to manage all aspects of the company’s sales activities while being accountable for leading and maximizing the performance of the territory to provide exceptional service to our customers at the local level.

YOU ARE

  • An Effective Seller:
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies to achieve and exceed sales targets within the assigned territory.
  • Identify new business opportunities and expand the customer base.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Stay updated with industry knowledge, sales techniques, and product knowledge.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as marketing, product development, and customer support to ensure seamless customer experiences.
  • Dedicated to Customer Relationships:
  • Act as the main point of contact for clients within the territory.
  • Understand clients' business needs and propose suitable product or service solutions.
  • Provide exceptional customer service and resolve customer complaints or issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
  • Skilled in Territory Management:
  • Effectively manage the sales territory, including planning and organizing sales visits.
  • Monitor and analyze sales data, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities and threats.
  • Prepare and present regular sales reports and forecasts to the Regional Sales Director or other members of the Sales Leadership team.

  • Reports to Regional Sales Director, Western Canada/PIP Canada.
  • Previous experience with PPE and knowledge about PIP’s competitors is an asset.
  • Will live within an acceptable radius of Vancouver, Vancouver island, Northern British Columbia.
  • Will possess a proficiency in computers and the use of software programs as required.
  • Responsible for development of clear, concise communications to the Regional Sales Director using Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and other Business Intelligence tools provided (PowerBI).
  • Great communication skills both orally and written.
  • Interpersonal skills to develop relationships with fellow employees and customers.
