Job Summary

Under the supervision of the Manager, Human Resources, the Associate Human Resources Generalist is responsible for providing support in: recruitment, staffing and orientation, employee relations initiatives, HR metrics and reporting, policies and procedures, HR communications, and special HR projects. The ideal candidate should possess a thorough understanding of HR processes, exhibit the ability to derive insights from diverse data sources, and demonstrate strong collaboration and communication skills.

Position Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle end-to-end recruitment for Canada and Global Markets: manage the new hire process, post open positions, pre-screen candidates, select preferred candidate in partnership with the hiring manager(s), coordinate and conduct new hire orientation and onboarding sessions, partner with internal HR COE’s to ensure required documentation and processes are appropriately completed.
  • Respond to and resolve employee and management inquiries related to HR programs and practices and engage appropriate HR team members when necessary.
  • Support members of the Human Resources team with day-to-day HR activities such as employee inquiries, developing presentations or data gathering/research and reporting.
  • Manage all new hire processes and Workday information requirements as well as timely correspondence with new hires and designated hiring manager(s).
  • Support the employee offboarding process, including the preparation of documentation, scheduling & conducting exit interviews, sending notifications and collecting company property as required.
  • Perform routine and ad hoc reporting from various HR systems to support the needs of the business and the HR team.
  • Perform other related HR duties as required and assigned


Position Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related degree preferred.
  • Working towards CHRP designation
  • 1-3 years of professional experience in recruitment and/or a Human Resources generalist capacity
  • Basic understanding of compensation, benefits administration, Canadian employment labor legislation
  • Ability to manage projects and problem solving
  • Effective verbal & written communication skills
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications (e.g.: Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Working knowledge of HR Information Systems (e.g.: Workday)
  • Ability to effectively multi-task with a strong sense of urgency
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity and change in a dynamic business environment
  • Ability to develop & maintain strong working relationships

Compensation

Pay Range:$56,000-$77,000

The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
