To achieve this, we have developed The Globe Pulsed Field System – we have a fantastic technical team that has developed a product with strong, unique, and customer-valued differentiators versus other solutions on the market. We have built connections with key opinion leaders who are already using the Globe System and are helping to tell our story.

We have now completed our pivotal clinical study and our focus is on regulatory approvals and commercial launch. This is an exciting and significant milestone in our journey to bring this ground-breaking technology to patients.

As one of our Business Application Engineering Team Leads you will have the unique opportunity to design innovative solutions to address inefficiencies and deliver high quality business applications. You will lead a small development team and collaborate with closely with other leaders to manage project areas and execute on strategy.

Please note, this opportunity is a hybrid work arrangement, located in Burnaby, BC.

Your Responsibilities Will Include

  • Lead an effective development team, focusing on coaching and delivering high quality business applications.
  • Manage timelines, resources and requirements across project areas (e.g., may include a subset of PLM, RVS, D365, MES, etc.).
  • Write high-quality code while balancing technical leadership responsibilities.
  • Drive solutions through the software development lifecycle including design, development, testing, configuration, deployment and maintenance.
  • Collaborate closely with other Information Systems Team Leads to allocate resources across projects, promote cross training and execute on strategy.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive high-impact features, address inefficiencies in business processes, and prioritize releases accordingly.
  • Lead continuous improvement projects (e.g., addressing technical debt, retrospectives, etc.)

You will be successful in this role because you possess these attributes:

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, software engineering or related field.
  • 2+ years of experience in a team leadership role.
  • 5+ years of experience in software engineering role.
  • Strong knowledge of the software development lifecycle.
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to take on additional responsibilities as appropriate.

Compensation

Kardium has listed the total cash compensation range (base salary + 5% RRSP contribution) that we expect to pay applicants for this role, as of the time of this posting. Pay offered will be determined based on numerous relevant business and candidate factors including, for example, education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, and business or organizational needs. For candidates with more or less experience than listed above, the pay range will be adjusted.

As a permanent employee, you will also participate in Kardium’s stock option plan.

  • $120,000 – 151,000 (CAD Annually)
